Site of Hooks Mill, a saw and grain mill, that operated as a post office, place of business, and picnic location for residents of the Middle Cacapon Valley. The property was bought by Robert Hook in 1848 and operated as a mill until washed away in a flood in the late 1930s. All that remains of the mill are parts of the mill race, the remains of a fish ladder Henson Hook built around his dam, and fragments of the southwest and northwest corners of the foundation.
