Opened in 1970, Military Circle Mall was the first enclosed shopping mall in Norfolk, and the second-oldest in Hampton Roads. The mall's name was officially changed to "The Gallery At Military Circle" in the early 2000's, before returning to its original name in 2015, when all the anchor stores had closed.
