This now defunct hospital was orignally referred to as the "Lunatic Hospital" and "Insane Asylum" as can be seen from early maps from the 1800's.

This land is now mixed residential and commercial use plots. about 5-6 of the original buildings are still in use. very nice place to live. the birding is amazing. hopefully it stays this way. here is a link to the "current" plan.

this changes so you can never be sure. purple building are occupied, as is the Haskell Building. 3 of the Morningside Homes have been built , the 3 just south of the detention pond. not sure they are worth the $600.000 asking price ...
