Duma Douma(Arabic: دوما‎, Dūmā) is a Syrian city administratively belonging to Rif Dimashq and the Duma District. Duma has an altitude of 428 meters. It has a population of 117,679 as of 2007, making it the 9th largest city per geographical entity in Syria.

A huge city with about 750, 000 of populations including the small villages around it and ranked as the 6th Syrian city due to the population.
It is the center of Damascus Countryside District, it was settled by Christians, Muslims, and jew.
Now it is considered a conservative city with very nice nature.
The people there are famous for their generosity and hospitality.
It is also famous for its very sweet grapes ( Doumani Grapes ).
You see the old markets, hand working market, many building like Banks and the building of Damascus countryside Engineers, commercial Bank, Real Estate Bank, Bemo Bank ( Saudi-France), International Bank for Commerce and Finance.
The most amazing picture of this city is the hundreds of beautiful Mosques especially the Grand Mosque in the center of the old market.
