Capital city of Gulu Province. Population: 113144 (2002 census). This is Gulu, the center of the Gulu District in Uganda. This town is where a military base that fights against the Lord's Resistance Army and is known for housing thousands of "night commuters" - kids that flee their homes so they aren't abducted during the night.
