This photo shows the old (narrow at the left) bridge and a part of new bride (wide at the right and with no middle part) which now the new bridge is open to traffic and the old is obsolete.The old bridge was constructed between the two world wars by Austrian and German firms and the new one at 2005 by the Iranians themselves.

  • You should be thankful that Reza Shah built that "narrow" and "obsolete" bridge as well as all the "obsolete" roads and railways throughout the country! With nothing but tax on sugar.You should be grateful of Reza Shah for allowing you to wear the "western cloths" and carry a Iranian passport and the surname given to ungrateful people like yourself. Because if it wasn't for Reza Shah Iran would be worse than Afghanistan is today. Go and light a candle for Reza Shah and be thankful for all the good he had done for Iran zamin.
