The Stockholm City Hall is the building of the Municipal Council for the City of Stockholm in Sweden. Located on the island of Kungsholmen, the city hall was built on the location where the grand mill Eldkvarn once stood.
The City Hall in Stockholm is probably one of the most beautiful buildings of its kind. The Neo-Venetian style building has a slender 106 meter high tower, topped with three gold plated crowns. It not only is the regular meeting place of the city fathers but also used for the Nobel Prize Banquet every December 10th.
