Anno 1670, but not the oldest bar in town. The building on the righthand side, with its impressive wooden interior, no chairs and tables but sand on the floor, is the oldest part and has a protected monumental status.
It was the meeting place of the country's top journalists, until the newspapers moved out of the town centre in the 1980's.
