Massive twin-tower structure originally built as one hotel, but later operated as two hotel towers with individual lobbies, but a shared podium structure and shared dining, convention and service facilities and shared parking garage.

The north tower was built in 1967 as the Statler Hilton Baltimore, a major part of Baltimore's urban renewal project at the time.

The south tower was added later and the hotel became the Baltimore Hilton, then the Omni International Baltimore in 1984, then a Wyndham in 2000, then the Sheraton Baltimore City Center in 2006. It left Sheraton in 2014 and operated as the Baltimore Harbor Hotel until 2016.

In 2018, the south tower, which had remained unused for a number of years, was reopened, branded as a separate Crowne Plaza Hotel. In 2021 it was rebranded as a Holiday Inn.

Both hotels closed in 2022 and were converted to apartments in 2023.
