  Steenbergen The literal translation of Steenbergen in English is Stone-Mountains. It's a nice but small town in the west of the province Noord (North)-Brabant. It has about 13.000 inhabitants. There are several nice shops, but when you really want to do some shopping, you might better go to Bergen op Zoom or even better: Roosendaal. Every Wednesday there's a small market with fresh things like fruit, vegetables, fish, nuts, bread and delicious cheese.
