  • Once upon a time Taldi M. C. High School was a very good school. It was established on 25th January, 1950. An educationist and philanthropist Mr. Khagen Naskar was the main founder of this school. Initially it was a multi-purpose ( Bahumukhee) school offering higher secondary (XI) in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. Subsequently, it became a Secondary School. Now, it is an HS School once again. In 70s & 80s, many students passed out from this school, some of them really excelled in their academic career, and later became professionally prominent. One may find alumni of this school spread all over India and even abroad. The teachers were much respected. The school is once known for its scenic beauty. It was a favourite picnic spot in winter. Though the students usually played football and cricket, it has actually unearthed many famous national and international level swimmers. Once SAI (Sports Authority of India) sponsored this school for its sports glory and other facilities. It has a lot of space, two big play grounds. It had teachers' quarters and a two-storied hostel in those early days when other contemporary schools could not even think of.
