Crash site of a Douglas DC-4 Skymaster, crashed on 23rd of August 1988. The aircraft was delivered to USAAF with the name 42-72347 in 1944. Then it flew as D-ANUK under the ownership of Trans Avia Düsseldorf (Karl Herfurtner), and from March 1957 onward, under the name 9Q-CBG for various Congolese Airlines. The reasons for the crash have never been cleared completely.
