117 Main Street.

At one time or another, The Montgomery Electric Company, Souderton Borough offices and water works as well as the fire department all shared space in this example of Colonial Revival architecture at one time or another.

The building was constructed about 1900, while the Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 was organized in 1901 and with 23 members housed its apparatus at its headquarters in the Borough Building on January 1, 1902. Civic Organizations such as the Men’s Business League, American Legion, Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club originally met in this building as early as 1909.

The building now houses Allebach Communications and Main Street Java
