Originally named Bush House, a tea warehouse built 1832 for Acraman, Bush, Castle and Co., extended 1837.
The Arnolfini was established in 1961 and moved to its current harbourside location in 1975.
Present Arnolfini is one of Europe’s leading centres for the contemporary arts, with five exhibition spaces, theatre/cinema auditorium, reading room and light/dark studios. The visitors can also find here one of the country’s best arts shops and café bar.
The Arnolfini centre is grade II* listed building.
