France / Ile-de-France / Viarmes /
ruins, minster (church), Order of Cistercians, interesting place, listed building / architectural heritage

In this big empty space now, but through 1792 was the most important part of the monastery with a nave thelength of 106 m and a height of about 28 m, the Church had just almost the size of the Cathedral at Soissons.

You can still get an idea of its plan/outline: in the park, the foundation for a choir to seven radiating chapels are visible.
