Location

The lodge is located in the Verkhne-Paratunskaya hot springs valley at the foot of Goryachaya Mountain (Hot Mountain) in a distance of 500m from the river Poperechnaya (Transversal River). It is 80km from the main town Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and 20km from the nearest settlement – Termalny village (Thermal village). Verkhne-Paratunskaya hot springs valley is famous for its healing thermal springs. You can bathe in the hot spring pools on the territory of the base or go to wild Karymshinskiye hot springs or hot pools at the slopes of Goryachaya Mountian. Here you will enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view. Active volcano Mutnovsky (2322m) and Vilyuchinsky (2173m) are located in the immediate nearness from the lodge.

Besides, in winter time you can ride snowmobiles, field ski, participate in heliskiing and heliboarding programs. In summer time one can ride mountain bikes, quadracycles or make hiking or helicopter excursions.
Transfer

In non-snow period of May-November you can get to the “Snow Valley” lodge by any kind of vehicles or use the transfer service of our company. In winter time we organize group transfers by large high pass buses (Ural, Kamaz types), by snowmobiles or helicopters. It takes about 1 hour to get to the lodge by land from the airport and about 1 hour and a half from Petropavlovsk. In winter time the time depends on the type of vehicle and road conditions.
General description of the lodge

“Snow Valley” is a mountain sport & tourism complex consisting of a lodge, restaurant, bar, VIP cottage, banya (Russian sauna) and hot springs pool. “Snow valley” can accommodate 41 guests (and there is also possibility to accommodate 12 more people). The restaurant has place for 50 people. There are rooms for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people, toilet rooms, shower rooms, kitchen, drying room.

All buildings are made of high quality European materials. Karelian pine tree processed on the Finland factories was used for the construction. Painting and lacquering was made with “Tikkurila” ecologically clean cover materials. Interior of the buildings is made in classical color tones and combines simplicity, minimalism and functionality.
