The Botanical garden of Lyon is an living museum where the full diversity of the plant-life of our planet is housed. A haven in the heart of the city, the visitor-friendly area enables people to relax while they discover the wide variety of the numerous collections of plant life spread out over 8 hectares of gardens, including 6,500 m² of greenhouses. Approximately 15,000 different types of plant-life are thus protected, amongst them, endangered species.
