Just say "830 Traction Ave" to someone in L.A., and most likely they will know what you are talking about... talk about effective advertising, no matter how ridiculous looking the commercial might be to some. It gets implanted into your brain.

This place is a total con from start to finish. You tell him what you want for what price then he shows you some off brand. He showed me a TV marked at $1,499. I said I saw one at Costco, a name brand for less. Then he says "okay, $1,000, just for you." It seemed like a good deal at the time so I took it. He told me I could return it for full refund or exchange in ten days, one year extra warranty from him and the manufacturer warranty. I go to pay for the tv and the receipt says "all items are used, refurbished or older models." I asked him about that and he said "your tv is new, this year's model." The receipt said "all sales final, no refund or exchange." I said what about the refund and exchange? He said you have it. I said "write it on the receipt." While I'm trying to read this receipt he keeps talking to me to distract me. I read what he wrote. It looked like Farsi, not english. I told him to write in english. He wrote "exchange only." I said that's not what you said. He said "we already ran your credit card. Too late." Anyway I get the TV home then search it on the internet. This TV is at least a year old model. Wal-Mart sold it for $998 last year. The manufacturer has their own warranty so the store's warranty means nothing. I would never buy anything from Crazy Gideon's ever again. Total rip off.
