Mirfa is a coastal town, 120km west of Abu Dhabi, in Abu Dhabi Emirate's western region. It lies on the Arabian Gulf coast, and was once the meeting place of fishermen and pearl divers from around the western region. Fishing is practiced here until this day.

Mirfa is the nearest city of the western region to the capital, Abu Dhabi, and is the gateway into the western region. Mirfa contains many public gardens and the Fisherman's Society. Many festivals are held here throughout the year.
