As of 2009, the Tatsumi DGC is one of two disc golf courses in all of Tokyo. (Search "Showa Memorial Park Disc Golf Course" to find the other DG layout.) Tatsumi's permanent (josetsu) 9 holes are very short, but a longer and more challenging temporary (tokusetsu) course is set up at "monthlies" (friendly competitions with various play-level categories) held every 3rd Saturday of the month. On other days, if the course is not crowded, more advanced players will want to create their longer and unique holes using the existing baskets.
