San Jeronimo is a smaller town near Salama. It's known for its Trapiche Museum, which is a museum dedicated to the history of sugar production in that area. The museum is housed in an old sugar plantation. There are numerous buildings and structures that were used in various stages of creating sugar from cane. The most impressive is the trapiche, a large wheel that grinds the sugar cane. There is also a series of buildings that house objects and photos from the old factory.
