Mostly there is wrong perception regarding the names of 'Talkeshwar', 'Uddalakeshwar' and 'Talkeshwar Lighthouse'
This Shiv Mandir near Anjanwel Light House is 'Uddalakeshwar' as we see from the stone carvings in this mandir. At the time of construction of light house, the mandir was supposed to be of 'Talkeshwar' and so the light house was previously and accordingly named as Talkeshwar Light House
But actual 'Talkeshwar' Mandir is mostly the one from the group of temples at Adoor.
