Unchawad was very old name of this small village, this is known as Kamlapur from a long time. the village name had been corrected in tahsil and district level, but it seems that in the state map it is still not corrected.
The village has famous Bohra mosque, a old Shiv temple and near by places to visit includes Jain temple and Chandrakeshwar temple.
