Sri Sri Nityananda Mahaprabhu was incarnate of the concept of Love that originated in Lord Sri Chaitanya, the eternal messiah. He was among the foremost of the league of illustrious men who had deepest sympathy and love for humanity. The divine and revolutionary philosophy of NITYANANDA saved the society from crisis it faced. HE made people to cross the barrier of colour, creed, cast privilege and united them with knowledge that all are the children of Divine (Amrit). He had spontaneous love for each and everybody. HE never discriminated while providing benevolence. HE never did command, but inspired others through His generosity. The world will become better place when we imbibe the sprit of NITYANANDA.
This distinguished leader of mankind was born in the village of Ekchakra, P.S Mayureswar (Sub Division Rampurhat) in the district Birbhum, West Bengal. At a later dated the village came to be known as Ekchakra Garvabas in HIS honour. The village has regarded worldwide by puritans as the womb of benevolence and love and as the foremost holy place for one & all.
Ekchakradham, bearing the foot print of HIS DIVINE GRACE LORD NITYAICHAND, is the pride of India. A number of temples and images situated here has been witness to its glorious history. The paths here are sanctified for there close association with the wise, the grate and exponents of love and devotion, above all, they bear the footprints of NITYANANDA, the other self of Chaitanya. Later, the religious master who sanctified the place with their devotion and sacrifice made it a place of the outcast & astray. Even the tiniest dust particle here, must be respected.
Nityananda was the first exponent of truth who uprooted all kinds of injustice, wrongdoings and discrepancies in society and lifted it to the supreme height of liberated humanity. He practiced what he preached. There is no hiatus between his idea and performance. Under his leadership a man-revolt was organized against the tormenting ruler of Nadia. His free sprit should be our ideal.
