First time this church is mentioned in the travelogue of a British soldier in early 19th century, and mentions it as the second biggest church after one in Madras….and the most beautiful in the entire north India..

wow..that’s some history.

The soldier was staying in one of the barracks around big grounds you see in front of the church,...
the ground and the church..and the barracks which still houses people...are testimony of resilience and conquest of time.....
