The Children’s Fresh Farm is a residential camp for children ages 7-10. The “Farm” was founded in 1923 and is located atop Shades Mountain, in the Bluff Park area of Hoover. Campers are chosen from low-income families in Jefferson County. The farm is owned by Independent Presbyterian Church.

  • This was the best camp i had ever went to i loved it so much and im pretty sure your kids will too. I volunteered and it was an awesome exsperiance and planning on doing more things concerning the camp in the future if i et the chance to but there are many things to do and the people and kids there are oh so sweet
  • I went to summer camp here and I loved it. I still remember some of the songs. Love the Big House, loved the swimming pool, loved it all, and love all the friends i made. I live in Upstate NY now, if I was back in Alabama I would really consider volunteering.
