  Mukundra Dighi diged by Mukundraprasad Roy (Chowdhury) in 1650-60 years. Mukundra was well known man who rulled over his Jamindai for Khalore pargana. That had been situated North-South (Chakur-Harinarayanpur) to East-West (Ramchandrapur to Mellok). Mukundra established Madangopal Jew (1651) at Mellock village he also spend long time this village. That time mukundra dihi area lived people apple for drinking water toward Mukundraprasad. On this regard People named "Mukundraprasad Dighi" . now this name reduce Mukunda dhighi.
