This cemetery has acres of very expressive memorials. They range from small simple plots to grand 20+ foot edifices. Many are covered in tile, and, this being a primarily Catholic country, angels, crosses and statues of Christ predominate. Latin, German and Ukranian last names are numerous. Many memorials are covered in the locally very popular tiles. Some are quite vibrant in their patterns and color schemes. The cemetery is walled and patrolled, and very few sites have suffered any damage over the years, although acid rain damage is evident on some marble monuments from the 19th and 20 centuries.
