Guestroom is a collaborative project by London-based artists Maria Benjamin and Ruth Höflich. Since 2002 they have been working with the notion of communities, artistic or otherwise and collaborative platforms, using different media from publishing to events and installations. They have also worked continuously with the relationship between studio/production space and the exhibition, process and formation using their own studio for temporary exhibitions, events and informal meetings as well as recreating a similarly fluid set-up in a gallery context.
