This airport was built between 1937 and 1944 and it closed some time between 1968 and 1970. The airport had a pool large building and two paved runways during the time it was open. After closed it was used for model air flying and had a dance club called Highlights. This airport was closed most likely due to its proximity to the Worcester Airport.

  • I have checked out the property. Very interesting. Most people have no idea that this place even exists. All you can see is a couple decrepit buildings from the road as you pass....one would never know the interesting history that lies there. I would love to acquire this property to clear the runways and use it for light aircraft use.
