The temple was built by the residents of New Model Town by collecting funds from all over the city by visiting each and every house/shop and requesting donation from general public. The foundation was laid in October 1984 and the construction completed in 1989 by installing the Five Face Shiv Ling which is not that common and other idols.

  • I HAD BEEN A WORSHIPPER OF LORD SHIVA IN THIS TEMPLE FOR SO MANY YEARS BUT DUE TO INDULGENCE OF SOME POLITICAL BRAINS IN THE COMMITEE OF THIS TEMPLE, STOPPED GOING THERE.
