This lighthouse was built in 1896 and abandoned in 1926. It has an octogonal cylindrical stone tower rising from the center of a one-story stone keeper's quarters. The entire lantern and cast-iron balustrade have been removed. Despite its poor condition the structure remains a good example of official neo-classical minor lighthouse style.
