The old church was situated at the location of the current cemetery. Dilapidated and cramped, it was demolished and replaced by a new church in 1839-1841, built at the crossroads of two main avenues of the town. In 1841, construction was completed, completed in 1866 by the tower porch. In 1953, the interior of the church was renovated and is realized in the 1976 renovation of the exterior walls and repair the roof.
