  Muhammad Pur ! This village was named because a holy saint Hazrat Muhammad Panah(R.A) and two other companions with the same name ,Muhammad, came here and started living here more than two centuries ago. One of the two companions was Muhammad Khan Murdana Baloch and he lived here and now his descendants are living here. One of his descendants name, Walidaad Khan Murdana took a major part in freedom battle of subcontinent 1857 and was deported under charge of fight against British army.
