  This is the site of the original "P & T" Boroko telephone exchange. I remember it as an old ww2 green corugated iron warehouse. Post and telegraphs bought the block next to the site for the new Boroko Police station however Jimmy and Betty Frames "Highland Vegitable shop" and their home was between the two P & T sites so Bill Carter and Bill Peckover the Director and assistant Director of the Department arrranged for John Buchan Snr to broker a deal between Jimmy Frame and P&T to do a swap which is today why the Boroko post office is on such a large parcel of land. The old P&T sight which I think was originally a bakery was eventually sold to Hugo and Krista Berghauser who built Hugo's building. There is much more to this story in every way but this is my first attempt at Wiki (LOL Not so for Wika!!!.....LOL).
