L’hôtel Le Provençal was built in 1926 by an extremely wealthy American named Franck Jay Gould. With his wife Florence, they gave Juan-les-Pins its status as international rendezvous for the golden boys and girls of the world. Before and after the War, this Art-Deco building welcomed the greatest artists of the time: guests such as Charlie Chaplin, Picasso, Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie.

After 49 years of good services, the hotel was shut down in 1976. Its rebirth is the work of the Dennis family, originally from Great Britain. In 2006, they acquired the mythical building and created Provençal Investments SA, under the direction of Andrea Dennis.
Today, the Provençal gives 60 privileged guests the opportunity to experience a unique art de vivre on the Côte d’Azur: exceptional interior design, breathtaking views, 4-star luxury service with a concierge, maximum security, spa, private beach, tennis and golf. It is one of the boldest projects in the region, on the horizon of 2010.

The architecture, revisited by Jean Foussat, is characterised by the creation of new balconies and loggias that respect the original 1930’s Art-Deco style, as do the decoration of the entrance halls and common areas on all the floors. The immense overflowing swimming pool brings the Mediterranean into the heart of the garden.

Touch-sensitive interactive table!
The promoter has just inaugurated a showroom, with a life-size replica of the future Provençal. The two room suites are dressed with white leather on the walls, marble and precious stones, lighted onyx floors, fully integrated kitchens, immense bathrooms with luxury spa, mirror-screens that have only to be gently touched to go from CNN to the internet… and the best feature is the interactive touch-sensitive table with its giant screens!

By becoming owners, prospective buyers can look forward to becoming members of the Club Optimum, which gives them access to the Beach Club, the Tennis & Spa, the 9-hole golf in Sophia-Antipolis and access to the 30 meter-yacht, among other things. All these facilities are, of course, exclusive!

The Provençal is to be divided into 60 luxury apartments, with one 730 m2 duplex and three penthouses, the largest of which has a surface of 900 m2 (300 m2 of which on a terrace). They are to be sold by Savills Plc exclusively, with an average price of 36,000 € /m2. Legends never die…
