Opened in 1950, this stadium was the home of the Baltimore Orioles from 1954-1991, the Baltimore Colts from 1947-1983, and the Baltimore Ravens from 1996-1997. Named to honor fallen soldiers of WWI and WWII.

The stadium was completely razed in 2001 and the site now hosts the largest YMCA facility in Maryland, an apartment complex, and a retirement home. Some remnants were transported to a veteran's memorial monument outside of Oriole Park at Camden Yards; the rest was used to form an artificial reef in the Chesapeake Bay.
