Robert E. Kamosa Transmitting Station (REKTS), owned by the International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB). It broadcasts programs for Radio Free Asia (RFA), Voice of America (VOA) and the Australian Broadcast Corporation (ABC). Currently it has six 500 kW short-wave transmitters, two 250 kW short-wave transmitters and 11 curtain antennas, broadcasting an average of 89 hours daily and 623 hours weekly; VOA broadcasts an average of 33.5 hours daily and 234.5 hours weekly. ABC currently broadcasts one hour a day, seven hours a week.
