In 1909 the building for their own use was built by architect George Schleifer. Initially it was a two-storey house adjacent to the five-story apartment house.
In 1910, both buildings were occupied. Unfortunately, it was the last project of the famous architect.
The history of this house during the Soviet period. The first time here was the headquarters of the Communist brigade of special purpose. In 1922, the house passed housing cooperative, after which he emigrated to France Schleifer.
In the left wing on the second floor at the time was a safe house underground anti-fascist organization Arsenalets.
In 1940 the mansion was overbuilt three floors. The overall style - Art Nouveau. Restoration involved a famous Soviet Ukrainian architect Pavel Alyoshin.
