  • Mansehra is the town, my maternal grand-father and his family, Kumars, famous business family. I visited, many times during my childhood,this town; Shankiari, Buffa, Mata Brehari (Temple) Abotabad, Nawan-shahar,Hawelian,Panja-saheb; Hazro, Camelpur(I belonged this town), very near to Attock River and Haripur. My relations had migrated to India, during early 1947.It is beautiful places, I believe.I want to see these wonderful places, mostly Hill-stations! I miss them; after 62 years!I remmber 'Kassa'( with river, tiny),a Tank we learnt to swim at Mansehra; Haripur famous were drains with clean /pure water , infront our houses and Mata Brehari!Buffa was famous to grind the flour, at GRAHAT (MILLING BY WATERS!), maize, wheat and rice. How can forget the famous places; after-all these places we belong to these places and Muzaffarabad, where I SPENT MY CHILD-HOOD!As PRISONERS OF WAR,WE SUFERRED FOR SIX MONTHS,OCT TO APRIL IN 1947 AND 48,WE HAVE VACATED AND 'THEY' SENT TO 'TENTS' FOR 'REFUJEES', AT KURUSHETRA, INDIA.MAY GOD /ALLAH-H /GURUNANAK SAHEB /ISHWAR BLESS ALL, IN INDIA AND PAKISTAN, ALSO.HOW CAN 'THEY' FORGET 'US'; THEY WERE GOOD,AT MUZAFFARABAD; LOCAL PEOPLE!
