  • After SISTES, I continued my first year here but eventually transferred to Manila to continue my high school education. Seems like ages ago but in my mind I can still picture the several lotus ponds with beautiful-colored flowers protruding above the water as if trying to reach my feet. Most of the ponds are located in front of the school. I can't remember her name but I had a classmate (a bright girl, the only scholar of the school) who used to live inside the compound of the school. She is related to one of the high school teachers. On several occasions, I visited a fish pond near the school where most of my classmates would swim butt naked (hahaha, sorry guys). In La Consolacion(?) area, there was this pond where most of my adventurous classmates would climb up a breadfruit tree and jump right in the middle of the pond. Wow, the good old days.
