Seven storey, 201,864 sq. ft. office building constructed in 1964. The International style building was named in honour of Pierre Olivier Chauveau, the first premier of Quebec after Confederation. At the time it was built there was considerable controversy regarding the modern appearance of the building. The building features retail shops on the ground level Rue Saint Jean frontage , while the City of Quebec occupies most of the office space.
