  Once known as Johnson Air Base, and the former USAF home of 3rd Bomb Wing, which moved to Bien Hoa AB, South Vietnam, in the early 1960s. Base fully reverted to Japanese Air Self Defense Force control in early 70s after serving as the Johnson Family Housing Annex USAF housing area through the late 60s.

  My sister was born there in 1963 and we lived there from 1967-1969. Fun times in those days.
