Reed & Barton was founded in 1824 by Henry G Reed and Charles E Barton, and is one of the most famous silversmiths in the nation. Although prominiently known as silversmiths, Reed & Barton has made a variety of other non-silver products, such as weapons for the Union Army in the Civil War, and all of the medals (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
