Barnicle Bill started many years ago in the state of Victoria as a fish and chip shop "Chain". In about 1993 for some reason all the Victorian stores closed down, while it still seemed to flourish in the State of South Australia. Recently (2005) Barnicle Bill re-opened in Victoria with this one store.
