  • the products which MIS bhb churns out every year, are among the best. They are shapped to succeed in life. right now, i can cite three examples, among thousands. Three boys from 1993 icse batch- Ajoy Pathak, Rhiju Bhowmick and the humble myself. The first one occupies a presidential position in Reliance Industries, a few ranks below Anil Ambani, the next one is a leading figure in the field of 'mergers and acquisitions', presently employed in Mercer International. and me, the humble myself, is a judge in the state judiciary. oh yes !, i remember another one from the same batch - Suman Talukdar. The last time I called him up, he was in Tazikistan, digging up mines at -30 degree centigrede. Any comments ?

  • Hi this is Shibaji Sarkar. I am an alumni from Mary Immaculate school, 1992 batch. Yes it was always an honour to be part of this wonderful school. Now my elder kid studies in the same school, class UKG. And i intend to put my junior kid too in this very school, this coming academic session 2010-11.However its only today, the 6th of nov, 2009, that i came to know a ridiculous new clause that the sisters have put in this time. They say that, to be considered for admission to LKG, your kid needs to be not less than 3 years and not more than 3 years, 3 months, as on april 2010!! That gives a incredibly low window of only 3 months. Meaning, to get admission this year, the kid has to have his/her birth month on the jan, feb and march of 2007, mandatorily!! Isnt this ludicrous? I am pretty tensed with it right from morning today and really at a loss since my kid will be 3 years 7 months on april 2010. Whats wrong with these policy makers at MIS, friends? I hope u all will appreciate my concern. My mail id is shibaji.sarkar@gmail.com
  • Hi all..... I'm a student of class X-A of Mary Immaculate School... It's a real honour being able to communicate with you all.... I've been studying here since I was four years old... It feels really very bad to leave my school.... the relations that we all had in here.... I had a very great time in my school.... I wish I can again sit on the bench of my school.... But that's not possible anymore.... My heart becomes heavy when i walk out of my school.... I know each of it's bricks.... I love each of it's rooms, verandahs, stairs...... My teachers are really AWESOME!!!!! I cannot but thank them wholeheartedly for gifting me these 13 wonderful years.... today I'm 17, and I'm going to Kolkata and USA for higher education, and I don't know whether I'll be able to come back to my little town....'Berhampore'.... I will miss this town and my sweet school between whose walls I was caringly brought up to this age.... I love you MIS and I'll miss you forever.......
  • No games. No Outing. Only .... makes Jack a dull boy!!!
  • it's a best school of all
  • MIS is best.
  • MIS was my second home. And gradually it turned into a place where I learnt to live. Everyone talks about the teachers and friends and how much they learnt and stuff. But the biggest thing that MIS has given me is the confidence to face the world and win. Today, I am a bigshot, working in a leading company. But had it not been for the days spent in MIS and the bunch of awesome people I got to know there, I would not be where I am now. The love the teachers still have for me was evident when I visited the school this past Republic Day. The friends I made back in school have stuck beside me through thick and thin. A bunch of amazing people they are. I consider myself really lucky to have spent 13 years in that little heaven and hope that MIS continues to produce brilliant minds year after year. Thank you MIS for everything you have given me.
