It is the Kali temple made by Swami Bhushanananda Swami in the year 1921.He was a saint like person. In his early life he left home as a 'sannayasi' and traveled almost all the holy places in India and lastly settled at Beldanga building an Ashram and temple of 'jogmaya astavuja kali' idol made of eight metals i.e . Astadhatu. he left many disciples all over all the districts of West Bengal mainly in Midnapur, Nadia, Calcutta, Murshidabad etc. He left four daughters naming Jogmaya, Mahamaya, Abhoya, Subhoya, I'm the eldest son of Jogmaya. The area has been mistakenly shown in a large square actually it is just the western side of CRGS high school and in between the two graveyard ( Kabarsthan)in the north and south.
