  • The foundation stone of the Jayaprabha Hospital was laid by Ex. President of India Dr.Neelam Sanjiv Reddy with much fan fare.It was announced that this will be a super specialised hospital like Jashlok Hospital of Mumbai but this was not done.The sudden demise of Dr. R.V.P.Sinha also stood in the way of its upgradation as he used to take keen interest in it. Today it is just an orinary dispensary. The ecquiments supplied during that period are gathering dust. A building in the compound has recently come up which houses the Blood Bank The Goverment should look to it and fulfill the aspirations of the people of Patna by transforming it into a super specialised hospital like Jashlok hospital.
