Elkafr mosque is the oldest mosque in Awish ELhagar village at all.It was small place in which AMR BIN ELAAS{a famous military muslim leader}was the first one prey through his journey to open EGYPT and invite egyptians to join islam,since that, Elkafr mosque was built and stay up till now,so it is considered as one of touristic places but neglected and forgotten and also has no ancient appearance because it was renewed many times according to recent measures but still keeping its historical taste and there is no awishian did not prey in it espcially in RAMADAN month .It is located neerly at the middle of the village neer NILE RIVER {DAMMIYTTA branch}.Written by Dr Ahmed Alnady Karkash
