 roller coaster  Add category

Originally built in 2003 and known as Top Thrill Dragster, it was the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world. Going an amazing 120+ m.p.h. and reaching a height of 420 ft. It had only been beaten by one coaster, Kinda Ka in Six Flags over New Jersey. After an incident injured a park goer in 2021, the aged coaster permanently closed. In 2024, the new Top Thrill 2 would take over. Guests riding Top Thrill 2 experience multiple launches, with the first sending the train rolling back to the start gate, the second launching it backwards and crossing over the adjacent Iron Dragon, and the third launching all the way to the top for the final plunge down.
